Supporting The Felix Project

Updated: Feb 26

Did you know that we regularly donate food to The Felix Project, a fantastic organisation which delivers good quality foods to local charities, helping to give vulnerable people a healthy meal or snack.

“There is zero waste here at JJ’s” says Terry. “If a product is close to its sell-by date but still in deliciously good condition – we make sure it goes to a good home.”

The Felix Project provides a free door-to-door service to collect surplus food from suppliers, and deliver it to charities. The organisation provides food for nearly 3 million meals per year, including to schools.  This helps to reduce the amount of food that would otherwise go to waste every day, and gives pupils and their families access to more healthy food.

Keep up to great work Terry! Read more about the Felix Project here.
