Restaurant website builder FOODit, a JJ Foodservice company, has launched a ‘VIP feature’ which will help takeaways to know, and reward, their most loyal* customers.
Head of Operations at FOODit, Richard Bradshaw said, “If it’s a customers’ ‘first time’ ordering from your website, you might want to throw in a free side. Or if they are a VIP they might get a free ‘taster’ portion of a new dish you are promoting.”
The new VIP feature tells takeaways exactly how many orders a customer has placed
“Consumers stay with brands that reward loyalty,” said Richard.
“That makes it really important for takeaways to know who their best customers are – we are crunching the data behind the scenes to help takeaways to connect better with their diners,” he added.
The new VIP feature works by notifying takeaway owners on receiving an order whether the customer is a ‘New Customer’ or ‘VIP Customer’.
Restaurant owners can also access additional information including the exact amount of orders that customer has placed.
