JJ Foodservice is calling on fish and chip shops to take part in a directory that will promote them to UK staycationers.
“Delays to overseas holidays mean more people will be looking to enjoy a break here in the UK,” said Chief Product Officer, Sezer Ozkul.
“What better way to top off your British holiday plans than with a traditional fish and chips meal.”

The directory will make it easy for people to find shops close to stunning views, cityscapes and tourist attractions.
Shops already signed up include, Papa’s Fish and Chips, the world’s largest fish and chip shop. Situated on the popular Cleethorpes Pier in Lincolnshire, the shop has more than 500 seats.
Hay Takeaway located on the edge of the Black Mountains of Hey Bluff in Wales, offers breath taking views.
Promoting a ‘quintessentially British’ experience is The Chip Shed, based in Bourton-on-the-Water, a charming English village in the heart of the Cotswolds.
